Power Take-Off Installation Guide

Installation is Simple!

• If you already have the DRL Upgrade Adapters, the installation of the adapter is the exact same.  
• If you are installing new adapters, please first follow the Adapter Installation Guide.
• You will need a HEAT GUN or very hot Hair Dryer.  
• A torch or lighter WILL NOT WORK as you will burn the connector.
• Remove the take off plug with the wires coming out of it. 
• Locate the red and black wires from your accessory.
• Use the Solderless Connector to join the black to black and red to red wires.  See below for information on the solderless connectors.
• MAKE SURE that the wires overlap each other in the solderless connector before shrinking it.  Example below.
• You can test the connection by gently pulling on the two joined wires.  They should not easily pull apart.
• Install your accessory per the manufacturer instructions.
• Connect the plug to the adapter as show in the image to the right.

The plug on the bottom is what you'll use to connect your accessories (like the Hood LED Strip!)
